About the Job
For a client in the petrochemical industry on St. Maarten we are looking for a
Facility Supervisor
Job responsibilities:
· Assure the highest level of safety awareness and practices at all times.
· Depot management and maintenance (tank farm and LPG tanks Saba and St. Eustatius)
· Maintenance of customer sites (Retail, Marine, Commercial & LPG)
· Inventory Management;
o Weekly stock reconciliations
o Receipt entries (fuels and lubricants)
o Raising of (inventory) PO’s
· Monthly HSSE reports, timely monthly submissions to management and Corporate
· Preparation of work permits for works in and around facilities and at external sites.
· Carry out and record emergency exercises and drills as required
· Completion of Annual Operations Activity Plan, by carrying out depot and other facilities periodic inspections and submit monthly reports with supporting documentation of items completed.
· LPG filling operations, including metal management and daily reconciliations of LPG pack stock.
· Implement and record scheduled and ‘on the spot’ toolbox meetings as appropriate.
· LPG Saba and St. Eustatius
· Tanker receipts (back up to Operations Assistant)
· Supervise plant attendants, and General Facility crew.
Requirements:
• Associate Degree – preferably MTS diploma
• 3-5 years experience at a supervisory level within a distribution operation
• Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS Office
• Experience in Supervising teams and individuals.
• A practical operator with a proven ability to get things done on time and within budget.
• Preferably knowledge of the St. Maarten market and operational methods of people in the area.
• Numerate with the ability to analyze data such as reviewing supplier and contractor quotations.
• Able to self plan, motivate, and deliver results.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm and an attitude to work well with others in teams.
• Expresses confidence in dealing with suppliers, negotiates well.
• HSSE and Emergency Codes compliance.
